Vos Universal Bamboo Knife Block for Countertops, Holder Without Knives

An upright bamboo block for the worktop that takes blades without a fixed slot pattern, so knives of different lengths and widths can all stand in it. Knives are not part of the purchase.

• Free arrangement — because the block is not cut into set slots, chef's, paring, bread and ceramic blades each find a place, and the maker puts the number it will take at 14.
• Small footprint — 4.6 in square at the base and 8.6 in tall, so it occupies about the counter area of a mug.
• Stays put — a grippy base keeps the block from creeping when a blade is drawn.
• Bamboo — wash by hand and dry at once; bamboo must never go through a dishwasher, and standing water will lift the grain.

Notes on the source data: the capacity field reads 14 load, which is a knife count rather than a volume or a weight. The description gives the width as 4.7 in against 4.6 in in the attribute block, a rounding difference worth measuring if the space is tight. The listing never states what holds the blades inside the block, so no internal insert is described. Its category is recorded as an in-drawer organizer, though everything else about it describes a countertop stand.
