Sofort Diatomite Drying Stone with Bamboo Rack and Holders, 16 x 12 in, Dark Gray

A dark grey diatomite slab plus a separate bamboo rack. Rinse a load, stand the dishes in the rack, and let the stone below absorb whatever runs off. The two parts also serve apart, one as a tray, one as a rack.

• Slab measures 16 x 12 in, and the set is listed at 2.3 kg.
• Boxed contents: one stone slab, one bamboo rack and four bamboo holders.
• Sandpaper is absent from the parts list. A bullet tells you to scrub stubborn marks with included sandpaper, yet the contents field names only the slab, the rack and the holders. Assume no abrasive is supplied.
• The pattern field carries the word modern, which names a style rather than any pattern, so nothing usable is published there.
• A surface coating is mentioned. One bullet describes a paint layer added for durability, which sits awkwardly beside the untreated-natural-stone framing elsewhere in the same listing. That coating claim comes from the maker.
• A claimed moisture uptake of 150 percent of the slab's own mass appears with no test behind it, so it is not carried over.

Care: wipe the stone using a moist cloth. Bamboo parts must stay out of a dishwasher and should dry in open air rather than sit wet.
