Simple Houseware Flat Plate Rack, 20 Stainless Rungs with Plastic Drainboard

A low rack that stands flat plates on edge, either inside a cupboard or beside the sink where they can finish drying. Twenty stainless rungs rise from a moulded tray, and the gaps between them take as many as 19 plates.

Rung spacing of 0.67 inches sets the limits on what will seat: plates as thick as 0.6 inches and as wide as 11 inches across. Bowls and deep dishes do not sit properly between the rungs, so this is a flat-plate rack only.

The unit measures 9.2 inches deep, 16.6 inches wide and 2 inches high. Two details in the source do not line up with that. Material is filed as stainless steel alone, although the tray underneath is plastic; and a listed weight of 1.01 pounds is very low for a steel rack plus a moulded tray, so treat it as unverified. The fitting note asks for 16 inches of vertical clearance, far more than a 2 inch rack needs, and reads as an error carried over from a taller model.
