The narrow one — 2.1 inches across — for the sliver of tile or steel beside a small sink where nothing wider will go.

Push the pad marked on the front until it gives an audible puff and it is mounted. Nothing is screwed, glued or drilled, and it can be lifted and repositioned as often as you like.

The cup itself is TPE moulded on the pattern of an octopus sucker and takes 11 lb.

Where it will and will not hold. Glass, metal, tile, steel and acrylic are fine, provided they are clean and dry beforehand. Uneven tile, unsealed marble, wallpaper and painted plaster are not.

Coated aluminium throughout, so damp does not mark it. It measures 5.3" x 2.1" x 2.6" and holds a sponge, a scourer, a scouring pad or a plug.
