Expansion works on two axes rather than one — width from 9.5 to 15.2 inches, depth from 12.6 to 19 inches — while height stays fixed at 2.3 inches throughout.

The drawer must already measure 9.5 inches across and 12.6 inches front to back, since that is the tray at its smallest.

Four slots of the usual sort, 11 inches by 2, take forks and spoons; three further compartments open out for spatulas, tongs and longer handles, giving between four and seven divisions depending on how far it is drawn.

Hand wash only — no dishwasher.

Food-grade polypropylene in matte black resists scratching and staining. The edges are deliberately thin to give more usable room inside.

Four anti-slip pads work alongside a buckle to keep everything steady. Settle on the final size before pressing those pads down, or adjusting it afterwards will fight you.
