Luxet Silicone Dish Drying Mat with Drain Lip, Grey Countertop Drying Pad

One sheet of silicone to replace the cloth pad beside the sink. Plates, pans and glassware drip onto it, and the runoff is steered back where it belongs.

• Drain lip: one edge is shaped to overhang the basin rim so collected water tips down inside the basin instead of pooling on the worktop.
• Diagonal ridges: the surface is grooved on the bias, holding crockery clear of the wet and moving water toward that lip.
• Flexible build: silicone, unbothered by heat or water, so a warm pan can go straight down onto it.
• Cleaning: lift the sheet and shake it out once the dishes are away; it also takes a dishwasher cycle every week or two.

Size figures disagree. The headline says 23 x 17 in, a bullet says 23.6 x 17.7 in, and the spec field reverses the axes as 17 in long by 23 in wide. Because they cannot be reconciled, no measurement appears in our title. Check your counter against the smaller pair.

Colour: the spec sheet records grey, and repeats grey again in the pattern field where a pattern should be. Copy describing a choice between black, white and grey covers the maker's wider range rather than this single item.
