Ollieroo Handwoven Water Hyacinth Storage Baskets with Built-In Handles, Set of 3

Three open-topped baskets woven by hand over an iron armature, each with a cut-out grip on two opposing sides. The weave holds its shape under load, so a full basket can be drawn off a high shelf by the handles without folding on the way down.

• Material, corrected: the listing headline says rattan and wicker, but the attribute sheet records water hyacinth, a broad flat-leaved reed that weaves softer and paler than rattan cane. Both the bodies and the grips use it.
• Sizes: the larger basket runs about 16.3 x 11 x 6.7 in. The smaller is quoted as 7.5 x 9.8 x 5.9 in, with its length written shorter than its width, so read those first two figures as interchangeable. Which of the three baskets arrives in which size is stated nowhere in the source, only that two sizes are represented.
• Attribute dimensions cover one basket only. The single 16 x 11 x 6.7 in entry on the spec sheet is the large basket, not a total for the group, which is worth knowing if you are planning shelf space for all three.
• Color is contradictory. The finish field says natural and the listing name says natural, while the color field says yellow. Untreated water hyacinth ranges from straw to light brown, and hand-woven pieces vary between batches.
• Handmade tolerance: the maker allows roughly a quarter inch of variation on any dimension.

Combined weight is about 1.55 kg. Suits open shelving, closets, under-bed runs and countertop overflow.
