Insputer Soft-Close Slide-Out Waste Bin Frame, Under-Cabinet Kit with Damped Runners

A steel cradle whose runners are damped, so a bin swinging on a briskly shut door settles rather than slamming. The can is bought separately. Insputer credits the frame's corrosion resistance to a nano-paint process rather than ordinary lacquer.

• Frame size is printed twice and disagrees: the attribute sheet gives 11 in wide by 16 in deep by 12 in tall, the bullet text 10.6 in wide by 16 in deep by 12 in tall. Plan around the wider of the two.
• Cabinet needed: a 12 in wide by 18 in deep opening, though elsewhere the text stretches that width to 12 to 15 in. Interior height depends on the bin you pick.
• Capacity: the field records 40 quarts, the text a 28 to 40 quart span — so the field is the top of a range, not a fixed size.
• Insputer rates the runners at 100 lb. Alloy steel, silver.
• Door-fixing screws are 12 mm long; check your door thickness first, or they will show on the front face.
• Finish is entered as "removable", which says nothing about a finish at all; take the coating as the nano paint named in the text.

Beneath a sink, trace the waste pipe's path before fitting, and dry the cradle after any leak, because painted steel corrodes wherever the coat is chipped.
