madesmart Premium Knife Mat, Five-Slot Soft-Grip Drawer Insert for Kitchen Knives

A slotted plastic insert that seats five blades apart from one another inside a shallow drawer, so edges are not knocking against neighbouring knives or against bare drawer bottoms.

• Five channels — five evenly spaced recesses hold blades individually, and a soft-grip lining underneath resists sliding each time the drawer is pulled.
• Plastic build — moulded from BPA-free plastic according to the maker.
• Size is published two ways — the specification table records 2 x 4 x 2 in, while the maker description gives 15 x 4 x 2 in. A two-inch span cannot seat five kitchen knives, so both figures are stated here rather than one being chosen; measure the drawer against the 15 in length before ordering.
• Antimicrobial claim — an additive is said to limit surface staining and odour. The sentence making that claim is incomplete in the source and names no organism, so it stands only as the maker assertion.
• Weight comes to 0.39 lb. The colour field reads PremiumWhite, a marketing word run together with the shade, and the style field simply repeats the antimicrobial feature.

Care: wipe by hand and dry. No dishwasher rating is published for this insert, and the soft-grip lining is not a surface to run through a heated cycle.
