27HZYS Standing Paper Towel Holder, Gold Steel Rod on Marble, 13 in

The weight sits at the bottom, in a slab of natural marble. Pull a sheet away one-handed and the stand does not come with it.

Above the stone, the post is stainless steel finished in gold — a metal that neither corrodes nor asks anything of you beyond an occasional wipe.

Assembly amounts to screwing the post into the base.

It stands 13 inches tall on a 6-inch footprint and weighs 2 lb altogether, which suits a worktop or the corner of a bathroom counter.

It arrives boxed.
