NewEle Compact Pine Potato and Onion Storage Bin with Mesh Front and Lifting Lid, Black

A small pine cabinet for the worktop that keeps potatoes, onions, shallots and garlic in the dark and away from the fruit bowl. A woven wire panel across the face and drilled vents behind keep air moving, which is what stops stored roots from sweating and sprouting early.

• Size: 12.2 in wide, 6.5 in deep, 16 in tall.
• Access: a lifting lid up top plus a magnetically closing door at the front.
• Interior: a removable shelf splits the space; the maker suggests a 10 lb sack below with onions and shallots stored above.
• Materials: pine throughout in a burnished black finish, with iron side grips and decorative corner plates.
• Assembly: none. It ships built.
• Care: wood only — dust it, or use a barely damp cloth and dry at once. Never soak this cabinet and never put any part near a dishwasher.
• Count fields disagree: the source lists three shelves, two compartments and two doors, while the description mentions one removable shelf. Expect two usable levels divided by that single shelf.
• Load: the stated maximum is 10 pounds.
