Swaitee 16 Inch Bamboo Magnetic Knife Strip, Wall Mounted Rack with Screw Hardware and Alignment Template

A wall-hung bamboo bar that lifts cutlery off the worktop and out of drawers. Magnets are embedded along its whole span rather than clustered at the centre, so long carving blades and shears grip anywhere on the face.

• Bamboo body, sixteen inches across, sized by Swaitee as its mid-range option for an everyday domestic kitchen.
• Ships with screws plus a paper alignment template, which lets you mark the drill points before committing to a position.
• Adhesive tape is not supplied and the maker advises against sticking it up. Plan on screwing into the wall.
• Holds more than knives: peelers, shears, skewers and other steel tools sit on it equally well, which suits garages and utility rooms as much as kitchens.
• Ferrous surfaces work too, so the bar can clamp straight onto a steel splashback or appliance side.
• Clean the timber by hand using a cloth wrung out in warm water, then dry it.

Supplier measurements read 15.8 x 2.44 x 6.3 inches with a mass of 2.1 pounds. A flat bar cannot stand 6.3 inches proud of a wall, so that third figure almost certainly belongs to the carton rather than the rack. Take the length as roughly sixteen inches and treat the depth entry as unreliable.
