LOPNUR 12 x 8 in Appliance Slider Mat, Cuttable Rubber, Grey

The mat sits under a coffee machine or mixer so the appliance slides across a worktop instead of being lifted, and it turns on the spot when the rear of a machine needs reaching.

Rubber, 0.3 inches thick, and it can be trimmed down to match the footprint of whatever stands on it. LOPNUR offers three sizes; this is the 12 by 8 inch one.

The surface grips rather than skids, and the material is described as heat resistant.

Dragging an appliance directly over wood or marble scuffs it. The mat takes that friction instead.

Grey, 11.9 inches deep by 8 wide, and light at 0.13 kg. The listing quotes a capacity of 10,000 pounds, a figure best treated as the maker's own.

Cleaning means a damp wipe or a rinse, then drying in the air before it goes back down.
