Despite the word large in the original listing, this is the smallest of four sizes the seller offers: 40 fl oz, or 1200 ml, on a 4.5" square base standing 6.6" high. The 2000 ml, 2800 ml and 4000 ml versions are bought separately, so check the figure before ordering.

Borosilicate glass makes up the jar, described as free of lead and BPA. A silicone ring sits in the underside of the timber lid to close the seal, and the glass stays clear enough to read the level without lifting anything.

Two heat ranges are printed side by side, minus 20 to 150 Celsius and 0 to 400 Fahrenheit, and they do not agree with each other, so neither is dependable. Shipping weight comes to 0.5 kg. The shape field says rectangular even though both base measurements read 4.5".
