The extending part is the drainboard rather than the rack itself; drawn out it adds 14" x 5.9" of working surface, and it pushes back flush when the counter is wanted for something else. The frame behind it is fixed at 19.92" deep, 13.98" wide and 8.94" tall.

Flip-up pegs with rubber sleeves hold pot lids, pans, baking trays and boards upright without scratching them. The flatware caddy is deep enough to take a 6.5" knife and mounts on the left or the right as preferred, while the ribbed drainboard stops water pooling under cookware and the built-in spout carries it into the basin.
