Koville Alpi Green Marble Paper Towel Stand, 7" Base, Standard or Jumbo Rolls

Weight does the work here. At 4.5 pounds of solid marble the stand holds its ground when a sheet is torn one-handed, which is where lighter holders topple. Its base measures 7" across and the post accepts both standard and jumbo rolls.

The stone is Alpi Green, quarried marble, so veining runs differently through every piece and no two stands look alike. Four soft pads underneath stop it sliding or marking a worktop, and it screws together on arrival using the tools supplied. One published figure, 20.15" by 8", sits oddly beside the 7" base quoted elsewhere and reads as a packing measurement rather than the stand itself, so plan around the 7" base. Marble is porous stone: mop up oil and acidic spills promptly and clean with a moist cloth rather than a scouring product.
