Galashield Clamp-Top Glass Storage Jars, Set of 2, 67 oz, 10.25 Inches Tall

Height decides whether these work for you. Each jar stands 10.25" tall on a 4.25" square footprint, too tall for most wall cabinets, so measure the clearance first. Two come in the set, holding 67 oz apiece, or 2000 ml.

Closure is a hinged stainless steel clasp that pulls a silicone-lined lid down onto the rim, so pressure holds the seal rather than a screw thread. That makes opening quicker with one hand and keeps liquids from creeping past the join. Glass itself is described as shock resistant.

Nothing wooden is involved, so the whole jar goes in a dishwasher without the hand-wash caveat that bamboo-topped canisters carry. Depth suits bulk baking stores, flour, pasta or sugar in quantity. Capacity and weight are printed as the same 4.2 lb figure, so read 4.2 lb as the weight and 67 oz as the volume.
