Each holds 16 fl oz, stands 5.9" high and measures 2.95" across both the base and the mouth, so the opening is as wide as the jar itself.

Closure is by a metal wire clamp that folds the lid down onto an orange rubber gasket, sealing tightly enough that the maker rates the jars as leak-proof. The glass is thick, lead-free and unaffected by vinegar, which is what allows pickling as well as dry storage. Stickers and a pen for labelling are included.

Two figures in the listing cannot be trusted: the quoted 3" x 4" x 2" contradicts the 5.9" height given in the description, and a 16-ounce total weight is impossible for twelve glass jars. Work from the per-jar figures instead. Washing by machine is stated as fine, and no wooden parts are involved.
