Sweejar Half-Gallon Storage Jar, 2 Litre Glass Canister with Lift-Handle Airtight Lid

Two litres in a single vessel, roughly half a gallon, is a lot of room for one container. That capacity was chosen with detergent pods in mind, though the same jar handles bulk kitchen goods equally well, and a moulded handle on the lid gives a grip when the jar is full and heavy.

The body is clear throughout, so the level is visible without lifting the lid, and the seal shuts out both dust and damp. Empty weight is quoted at 0.95 kg. Glass of this sort copes with warm and cold surroundings alike and wipes clean without leaving residue behind.

Treat the published 8" by 7" by 7" figure with caution, as a box of those proportions would swallow far more than two litres, which points to packaging rather than the jar. At this weight when loaded, keep it on a shelf that will take the load and near the front where you can reach it two-handed.
