VaeFae Bamboo Cutlery Tray with Removable Knife Block, Expands 17.91 to 31.1 Inches, Nine Slots

A knife block sits within the tray and holds six steak knives point-down, out of sight and away from fingers reaching into the drawer. It lifts straight out when the space is wanted for something else, which is unusual in a flat cutlery tray.

The frame expands from 17.91" to 31.1" across and can be opened on one side only or both, useful when a drawer handle or divider sits off-centre. The drawer should measure more than 18" wide by 17" deep inside, and the tray should be set to width before anything is loaded into it. Depth is 16.93" and height 2.48", with seven to nine compartments cut deeper than usual so long utensils stay put.

Bamboo throughout, polished. Two figures in the specification want reading with care: a capacity of 7 kg alongside an item weight of 3.4 kg, and a colour field filled in as Polished, which describes the finish rather than any colour. Take the 7 kg as a load figure the maker quotes, not a verified rating.
