Libreshine Bamboo Carrier Bag Dispenser, 13 Inch Tall Box on an 8 by 5 Inch Base, Wall or Cabinet

The proportions decide where this goes: a column 13" high standing on a base of 8" by 5", which is why it slips beside the pipework under a sink where a squat box would waste the height. Slots down the sides let a bag be drawn out one-handed from more than one angle, and the edges are sanded so nothing catches on thin film.

Bamboo two fifths of an inch thick makes up the walls, sealed with a waterproof finish that suits the damp of an under-sink cupboard or a utility room. Nothing needs building; it arrives whole and weighs a shade over 2.6 pounds empty.

Three ways of siting it are catered for. Stood on a worktop it simply sits; fixed to a cupboard door or wall it uses either the adhesive pads or the screws and plugs in the box. Adhesive fixing suits a smooth, sound, dust-free surface only, and a loaded bamboo box is heavy enough that screws are the safer choice on plasterboard.
