Totally Bamboo Expandable 5-Compartment Drawer Organizer, 13 to 22 inch Width

Three compartments are fixed and two slide, which is how the tray covers anything from 13" to 22" across without leaving a gap at either end.

The drawer needs at least 13" from front to rear and 2.5" of clearance, since neither figure changes when the tray is pulled open.

Bamboo dividers sit on a solid fibreboard base, so the compartments hold their shape under a full load of cutlery. The tray weighs a pound.

Five compartments give spoons, forks and knives their own lanes, with room left for longer utensils.

Nothing about the design is kitchen-specific; the same tray sorts craft materials, stationery or small hand tools elsewhere in the house.
