Heim Concept Bamboo Cutlery Tray, 17" x 12" Fixed 6-Compartment Drawer Insert

This tray does not expand. The maker's own text says so plainly in one line — a fixed 17" by 12" by 2" unit with six slots — while the specification block and another line describe it as adjustable. Measure for 17" by 12" and assume no give.

Compartment count is quoted inconsistently as well: six in the specification, 8 or 6 in the description. Six is the figure the closing note repeats.

Bamboo rather than MDF, and stated to be formaldehyde-free, which is the distinction between a solid tray and a veneered board one.

Slots are sized differently from each other, taking spoons, forks, knives and longer mixing tools without the mismatch of equal-width bays.

The colour field on the listing reads Silver, which does not describe a bamboo tray and should be disregarded.

At 2" high it is a shallow insert, and it works as readily on a worktop or in an office drawer for art and stationery supplies.

• Six compartments of differing sizes
• Fixed 17" x 12" x 2"; does not extend
• The listing also calls it adjustable
• Compartment count given as six, and as 8 or 6
• Bamboo, stated formaldehyde-free, no MDF
• Colour field reads Silver, which is inapplicable
