Each fence rail wears a protective sleeve. Plates meet plastic rather than bare metal, which cuts the clatter and stops crockery slipping through. Rubber feet hold the frame still and spare the worktop.

Ribs moulded across the floor lift water away from the base and steer it to a fitted plug, from which the spout carries it down to the basin.
