Depth changes by tier, and that is what decides what fits: the top step is 3" deep and will take a standard 16 oz can, while the two below run 2.38" and suit smaller tins, jars and bottles.

The whole rack stretches from 14" to 27" across, so it spans most cabinet shelves without leaving a gap at either end.

At 4.25" high overall it goes under a low cabinet shelf where a taller riser would not.

The load ceiling is quoted as 10 pounds for the whole rack, which is low once tinned goods are stacked across three rows.

Nothing about the design ties it to tinned food; jars, small bottles and packets sit on it equally well.
