Sun3drucker names tilt-head KitchenAid models of 4.5 to 5 quarts, including the Artisan and Classic, as the intended fit. Bowl-lift machines and larger bowls fall outside that range.

Sitting between the mixer feet and the counter, the board absorbs the friction that would otherwise wear at both. Its face is smooth, so the appliance is not scratched as it travels.
