Anchor Hocking Montana Jars in Coastal Blue, 2 Piece 96 oz Set, Acacia Lids

Colour sits inside the glass rather than on it. Particles are infused during manufacture, so there is no coating to chip away or to fade at a sunny window.

Two jars come in the set, 96 oz apiece, each with an acacia wood lid that seats snugly.

The mouths are wide, so a scoop or a measuring cup goes in without knocking the rim.

Jars can go through a dishwasher; the acacia lids must be washed by hand. Wood and hot cycles do not agree.

Glass resists odours and staining, which matters when one jar carries coffee this month and rice the next.

Beyond dry food, they suit soap flakes or laundry powder on open shelving. The set weighs 3.97 kg, so a full jar is not a light lift.
