Bormioli Rocco Hinged-Lid Glass Jar, Wide Mouth with Gasket, 4.25 x 6.25 Inches

The lid hinges and clamps down onto a rubber gasket, which is why this jar holds liquids as readily as dry goods without seeping at the rim.

Capacity is quoted twice and the figures do not tally: 1.5 litres in the attribute panel against 1.2 quarts in the size field. The jar itself stands 6.25" tall on a 4.25" cylinder and weighs 1.7 lb.

Unclip the steel closure before dishwasher use. Left in place, it makes the jar a hand-wash item.

A wide opening keeps filling and emptying simple, whether the contents are jam, spices, sugar, flour, rice, coffee or herbs.

Clear glass and a cylindrical profile mean jars sit on one another without rocking.

Jar, clamp and gasket are all manufactured in Italy, and the glass is BPA free.
