Umbra Buddy Countertop Paper Towel Holder in Black, Soft-Touch Moulded Polypropylene

The post grips a roll under slight tension, which is what lets a sheet come away one-handed instead of needing the other hand to hold the roll down.

Reloading means lowering a standard kitchen roll onto the post. There is no spindle to unclip and nothing to unscrew.

Moulded soft-touch polypropylene around a metal core keeps the weight down while stopping it toppling when the roll runs low. Damp-cloth cleaning is enough.

Two size claims sit in the same listing. The description gives a height of 12.5 inches over a 7-inch diameter, while the specification panel says 11 by 9 inches.

A stray polyester line also appears among the maker bullets and contradicts the stated polypropylene body, so it has been left out of the specification below.

The weight is 0.5 kg and the colour black.

• Tension post for one-handed tearing
• Moulded soft-touch polypropylene over metal
• Takes any standard kitchen roll
• Height given as 12.5 in with 7 in diameter; panel says 11 x 9 in
• 0.5 kg, black
• Wipes clean, no assembly
