ANSQU Blue Glass Canister 23.7 fl oz with Bamboo Airtight Lid, Embossed

A silicone ring set into the bamboo lid is what makes the seal. Without it, a wooden lid would sit loose and let air through.

Capacity runs to 700 ml, which the maker translates as 23.7 fl oz of liquid or roughly 250 g of coffee beans.

The jar stands 5.51 inches on a 3.85 inch round base and weighs 460 g empty - heavy enough to resist tipping, low enough for most shelves.

Sunflowers are embossed into the blue glass, which the maker calls food-grade and thick, and rates as resistant to both low and high temperatures.

Tea, coffee, sugar, flour, rice, biscuits or sweets all suit it, and it doubles as a small vase.
