A knife block sits at one end and lifts straight out. Up to seven blades stand in it, edges enclosed, and removing the block to wash it separately means the wood around the knives can be cleaned properly rather than wiped around.

Width runs from 12.6 inches out to 21.45. At its smallest the tray measures 16.3" long by 12.6" wide and 2.13" high; fully drawn out, 21.45" x 12.6" x 2.13".

Height is only 2.13 inches, so a shallow drawer will still close over it — but the 12.6 inch depth is fixed and needs checking against the drawer's front-to-back measurement.

Eight compartments in all, sized so that long tools — spatulas, tongs, serving spoons — lie flat rather than jamming across a divider.

Bamboo in a polished finish, brown in colour, and no installation is needed before use.
