VaeFae Bamboo In-Drawer Knife Block, 12 Slots Plus Sharpener Channel, 17 x 9.1 in

Your drawer has to exceed 18 inches in depth and 10 in width. The insert measures 17 by 9.1 inches and stands 1.7 inches tall, so a shallow drawer simply will not shut on it.

Twelve slots divide into two sizes: six cut for 9-inch steak knives, and six that the maker describes as taking blades of up to 16 inches. One further channel is set aside for a sharpening steel.

Blades seat firmly once in. Nothing travels backwards out of its channel when the drawer gets shoved shut.

Slots were widened over the previous version, which makes lifting a knife out by the handle less awkward.

Moso bamboo throughout. Dry it fully after any wipe-down - standing moisture is what shortens the life of a bamboo insert.

Neither knives nor sharpener are part of the package.
