Spectrum Ashley Paper Towel Holder, Weighted Black Steel Base with Tear Arm

A curved arm rides against the side of the roll and holds it in check, which is what lets you tear one sheet with a single hand rather than unspooling half the roll.

The base is broad and deliberately heavy, so the stand does not skate across the worktop or tip when you pull.

Both standard and jumbo rolls fit the post, and the roll rides above the surface rather than resting on it, staying dry when something is spilled nearby.

Alloy steel throughout, finished in black. It occupies a 7 by 6.75 inch patch of counter, which is a small tax for something reached for daily.

Nothing needs assembling. At 0.9 pounds it travels between the worktop and the table without complaint.

A quick pass with a cloth, then dry it off, and the finish keeps its look.
