The base is narrower than the top, and that is the measurement deciding whether it fits. To stand inside a sink, the bowl must exceed 13.58 inches along its length and 9.13 across; the top, at 15.35 by 10.78 inches, will overhang.

Check your sink dimensions before buying. Height is 4.8 inches, and arms at either side pull out to 21.85 inches when you would rather have the rack straddling the sink than standing in it.

Capacity is modest: roughly six flat plates, together with a handful of cups — enough for perhaps three people at home. Slotted rails hold plates upright, and two separate compartments keep cutlery apart from everything else.

Four rubber-coated feet sit against the worktop or sink floor without scratching. Extending arms are rubber-tipped too, so the rack grips instead of slipping into the bowl.
