Nine containers of a single size, half a litre or 2.1 cups apiece, which is a scale that suits spices, herbs, loose tea and ground coffee rather than bulk flour.

Corners are shaped for pouring, so a measured amount goes into the pan without a funnel and without a trail down the side.

Each flip-top lid carries a silicone seal that expands when its ring is pressed down, closing against liquid as readily as against dry goods.

Bodies are moulded in AS plastic, free of BPA, which Shazo describe as tougher under impact than the material they used before.
