Reli. 8.5 L Airtight Canisters, Pair of XXL Tubs 9 x 6.75 x 12 in

Volume is the headline: 8.5 litres in one tub, deep enough to take a whole bag of flour without decanting the remainder somewhere else.

Two of them come in the set, each 9 inches long, 6.75 wide and 12 tall.

The lid locks at the sides and seats onto a silicone seal, which is what makes the leak-resistant claim stand up. Lining lid and rim up properly matters if the seal is to close evenly.

The maker lists them as both dishwasher and microwave safe, which is unusual for a pantry canister at this scale.

Six chalk labels and a marker pen are supplied, so a tub can be relabelled whenever its contents change.

One point to flag: the product title mentions two measuring cups, while the specification and the feature list each say one.

• 9" x 6.75" x 12" each
