These are replacements, not accessories. An old gasket goes brittle long before the jar does, and a clamp lid stops sealing well before that becomes obvious.

Outer diameter is 3.75", inner 2.75", which covers the majority of standard mason jars. Measure an existing ring against both figures before ordering, since clamp-lid jars vary by maker.

Silicone rather than rubber: it stays supple, stretches into the lid groove, and seats without being forced.

Seven rings come per set, in white.

Once seated, a ring blocks air and moisture, which is what stops dry goods staling in a jar that looks shut but is not.
