It arrives as two separate acrylic pieces, not one channel. Set them further apart or closer together and the holder takes whatever length of straw you own.

The inside of the cabinet door needs at least 7.5" of flat surface. Inner frames and mouldings eat into that, so check the panel before peeling anything.

Fixing is by nano gel pad, with no screws. The maker suggests a dry run first: tape both pieces up temporarily, load a straw, and confirm the door still shuts before committing the gel.

Holes in the base let water run out, which matters for reusable straws that go back damp after washing.

Clear acrylic reads better than ordinary plastic and shows what is standing inside without anything being opened.

Straws are not the limit: cleaning brushes, coffee stirrers, long spoons and chopsticks all stand in it.
