A steel bail clamps each lid shut against a silicone gasket, so the closure is mechanical rather than a friction fit — worth having for flour that draws damp.

Three jars come in the box, each square at 4.5" across and just under 8" tall. Height is given as 7.8" in the specification table and 7.9" in the bullet copy, so allow the larger when planning shelf clearance. Capacity is 50 oz, near enough 1,514 ml, which swallows around 2.5 lb of sugar.

The mouth is wide and the inner wall smooth, so a scoop reaches the bottom and nothing cakes in a corner.

Hand washing only. Mild detergent, warm water, and no machine cycle for the clamps or gasket.

Six peel-and-restick labels arrive with the jars, plus a chalk marker of the water-based sort, so the baking powder jar stops being guesswork. A damp wipe clears the writing and you start again.
