SEVEN SPARTA 3 Tier Ceramic Fruit Bowl on Bamboo Stand, 13.4 in Wide, 5 Litres

Ceramic bowls rather than wire baskets: three oval ones, seated on a bamboo frame whose back is squared off so the stand tucks against a corner of the worktop.

Capacity runs to 5 litres across the three levels, within a footprint 13.4 inches wide and 14.2 inches tall.

The bowls are handmade and safe in a microwave, so a tier can leave the stand and serve salad, dessert or part of a buffet.

Building it is straightforward. Screws, screwdrivers and printed instructions all arrive in the box.

Its maker calls this Plus edition the largest ceramic fruit bowl available; treat that as their claim rather than a measured comparison.

White ceramic on bare bamboo, with no plastic anywhere in the construction.
