YIJUANGFA Silicone Under-Sink Mat 25 x 19 in, 0.7 in Raised Edge Holding 3.5 Gallons

This is a tray in the guise of a mat. A 0.7 inch lip runs the whole way round, and the maker puts capacity at 3.5 gallons of spilled liquid — enough that a slow leak is caught long before it reaches the cabinet floor.

It measures 25 inches by 19, in grey food-grade silicone with a honeycomb surface. Cabinets larger than 25 by 19 inches will be left with an unprotected margin.

Silicone tolerates heat and holds its shape, so the edges do not warp, buckle or curl the way a thin plastic liner does after a summer under a sink.

Water and oil rest on the surface rather than soaking in. Cleaning is a wipe, with mild soap when something sticky has dried on.

Away from plumbing it serves equally as a pet feeding mat, a tool tray or a craft mat.
