ROOMTEC 2 Tier Pull-Out Cabinet Organiser, Birch Shelves, 7.5 in Wide by 21.5 in Deep

Seven and a half inches across is genuinely narrow — this is the version for a slim unit beside a cooker or at the end of a run of cabinets.

An 8-inch opening is the minimum. Take that measurement inside the frame, hinge across to the opposite edge, leaving the door out of the reckoning.

Shelves are birch, edged in polished metal with bright chrome elsewhere, so the inside of a cupboard looks finished rather than industrial.

Height adjusts on both levels — three positions above, two below — which is how a tall bottle and a flat baking sheet share one unit.

Depth runs to 21.5 inches, overall height 15.5. Each shelf rides on ball bearings, the pair rated to 100 lb, and the frame weighs 15.4 lb.

Fitting calls for a screw gun and the diagram supplied; the job takes roughly twenty minutes.
