WHITE FEATHER SUPPLIES 6.5 L Pantry Containers, Set of 2 with Measuring Cups

The useful detail on this pair is the weight table. One box takes roughly 7.5 lb of flour, 12 lb of sugar, 10 lb of rice, 8 lb of pasta, 11 lb of wheat or 6 lb of oats, so you can work out in advance whether a supermarket bag will go in whole.

Each measures 11.1 in tall on a square 7.2 in base — a footprint that lines up neatly in a row rather than leaving gaps.

Lids snap down on all four edges onto a silicone gasket that lifts out for cleaning. That gasket is what the leakproof claim rests on.

Accounts of the plastic differ slightly: one line calls it BPA-free plastic, another names ABS and SAN. Both agree it is food grade, dishwasher safe and freezer safe.

Colour is stated two ways as well — black in the specification, clear in the product title — so do not count on a see-through body.

Two measuring cups come in the box, and the empty pair weighs 1.17 kg.
