Three stepped tiers raise each row above the one ahead of it, so a jar at the rear can be read without lifting the ones in front to check.

Every tier is 2.48 inches deep with a 1.38 inch lip that stops jars sliding forward. Across the two racks in the pack there is room for as many as 36 three-ounce jars.

The frame comes in at 11.81 inches wide, 7.56 deep and 4.14 high. It stands on a worktop or inside a cupboard, and it can be laid flat in a drawer instead. A drawer needs five inches of depth at minimum.

Bamboo throughout, varnished, light brown. The wood is dried and polished repeatedly before assembly, which the maker credits for its resistance to cracking and damp.

Nothing has to be bolted together — it comes ready to load. Jars are not supplied.
