Four tabs snap down on the lid, one per side, pulling it against the rim right round. That seal is what keeps a marinade from running out on its side and dry goods from going soft.

Graduations are moulded into the wall, so a batch can be measured as it goes in. Capacity works out at 190 oz, 6 US quarts or 24 cups depending on which unit you cook in.

The body is clear, so a column of these on a shelf can be read at a glance without opening anything.

Tribello lists it as dishwasher, freezer and microwave safe, and the plastic as BPA free. Empty weight is 0.6 kg.
