Fit comes first with this one. Bottom mounting wants an opening wider than 17.5 inches, depth beyond 21.5, plus 3.5 inches of clearance in height. Fitted sideways, the opening should be 17 inches with depth somewhere from 21 to 23.

Take the width at its tightest point with the doors swung fully back, then measure depth down each side and trust whichever comes out smaller.

Hinges and pipes take their share: an inch lost to a hinge is an inch gone from the opening.

The wooden box measures 16 inches wide, 21 deep and 3 high; with the runners attached the whole assembly needs 17 inches. Inside, you get 14.7 by 19.7 inches.

Slides run the full length and close themselves quietly over the last inch, carrying up to 60 lb. The drawer is knotless solid wood at five-eighths of an inch, twice lacquered, on a quarter-inch plywood floor. It arrives built, with screws and instructions.
